Physical: some workloads are better suited to running on dedicated hardware rather than VM’s. Live Communications’ managed servers are based on hand-picked hardware with around-the-clock monitoring. Every server comes standard with vir-tual console access and remote reboot.
Virtual
Live Communications provides virtual machines (VMs) on a utility basis: we charge for disk, memory and CPU usage per month. We can give you access to the management portal to build and maintain your own VM’s or we can build them for you. VM’s are protected against host, network, and SAN filature with automatic failover and redundancy build into the underlying hose clusters and their support-ing equipment.
Disk
Live Communications offers highly available storage services to its customers on our SANs. Utilising our infrastructure will afford you the security, redundancy, high performance, and availability of a SAN system, without the prohibitively expensive setup costs, power demands, and spatial requirements. You can combine disk with either your own servers or ours.
Managed Network and Firewall
We provide a number of net-working solutions, from a direct Internet connection to a complex configuration of load balancers, firewalls, and data net-works, to ensure the security and high availability that our customers require.
